Vicente Sanchez, Charlotte Layman, Paola Verjan & Liz Coon are appointed to the Parker Youth & Sports Foundation Board of Directors

The Board of Directors of Yakima Valley Hearing & Speech Center has appointed Vicenté Sanchez, Charlotte Layman, Paola Verjan & Liz Coon as trustees of the organization. It is especially exciting to welcome four new volunteer board members into the leadership circle of the Yakima Valley’s premier charity for youth sports!

Vicenté Sanchez, from Yakima, is an educator and coach with the Yakima School District and volunteer with youth sports. He is the father of four children. Vicenté attended Wapato High School, graduated from the University of Washington, then received his Masters from Heritage University..

Charlotte Layman, from Moxee, is a contractor, entrepreneur and volunteer for youth sports in Zillah. She is the mother of three children. Charlotte attended Sunnyside High School and graduated from Gonzaga University

Paola Verjan, from Yakima, managers sales and events at Yakima Valley Tourism. and she volunteers with youth sports. She is the mother of two children. Paola attended Eisenhower and graduated from Kennewick Training Center.

Liz Coon, from Yakima, is a realtor with Berkshire-Hathaway Inc., coached youth soccer, managed golf tournaments. is a board member at Yakima Tennis Club, teacher, and a sports mom. She is the mother of four children. Liz attended West Valley High School, graduated from the University of Washington and received a Master’s degree from Heritage University.

These talented new Parker Youth & Sports Foundation board trustees complete a board of 16 trustees to continue the work of supporting and preserving the parks, youth sports programs, and sports facilities in the greater Yakima area by awarding grants and scholarships to organizations and individuals.
