The Board of Trustees of Parker Youth & Sports Foundation is pleased to announce that Pat Leahy has been appointed as continuing President of the Parker Youth & Sports Foundation. Jonathen Hernandez has been appointed Vice President; Dan Williams was appointed Past-President and Nancy Leahy was appointed Secretary and Events Director for the 2025-2026. Tyrus Knouse from Selah, Carley Brown from Wapato & Angel Mercado from Selah are new trustees appointed to the Board. It is exciting to welcome new leadership into the management of Parker Youth & Sports Foundation. The other Trustees of the board are Rich Austin, Jeff Garretson, Megan Bewley, Gary Staples, Matt Burton, Mark Grange, Taylor Elmo, Irma Mercado Williams, and Darlene Olmstead.
Parker Youth & Sports Foundation Board of Trustees is also extremely proud to welcome community sports professionals Mel Moore, Gene Rostvold and Paul Campbell as Honorary Members of the Board of Trustees. These individuals bring valuable knowledge and experience to decisions that impact the growth and quality of youth athletics. The Board and Honorary Trustees work for the mission of Parker Youth & Sports Foundation to support and preserve the parks, sports facilities, Yakima Valley College athletic scholarships and youth athletic programs in the greater Yakima Area. We look forward to an excellent year of youth sports in the Yakima Valley in 2026!
