The Ron Pearson Award is a new grant established and funded by the Faller Brayton Endowment. The $2,000.00 award is to benefit, via scholarship, those who wish to participate in the Yakima Youth Baseball program but need financial assistance.

W.E. (Gene) and Denise Connor of Arlington, WA., are receiving this year’s Contributor of the Year Award, as we take an opportunity to recognize and thank an individual or individuals who have financially, or by their actions, supported the mission of our Foundation. The Foundation recognized the couple who have attended our annual fund raiser, donated 2 lawnmowers to the Yakima Valley College baseball program, been faithful in financially supporting the Faller Brayton Endowment to the point of having enough Faller autographed bats to equip a baseball team, and played in many of the High Hopes tournaments.

The Parker Partner of the Year is presented to the behind the scenes type of person. Chris Pearson has supported the Foundation every year as a Parker Partner; played in the High Hopes Tournament as well as provided part of the player package; and always supports the Sports Legends Reunion.
